Welcome to MacDill AFB Health and Wellness Center (HAWC)!
"Voted U S Air Force & AMC Large HAWC of the Year for 2009"
Our goal is to establish a one-stop, state-of-the-art HAWC, and to provide quality preventive health and fitness services to the MacDill community. The main objectives being increasing military readiness, reducing health risks, decreasing health care demands, and enhancing the quality of life. HAWC offers a variety of options for active duty personnel and their family members. See Calendar of Events below.

It is time for the Annual Men's Health Seminar Luncheon 1 April!
This year it is focusing on cardiovascular disease and we
are calling it the "Red Tie Event" (Women have the "Red Dress").

Dr. Eric Harrison will be the guest speaker. He is a cardiologist in Tampa and also one of the honorary commanders for MacDill. The complimentary lunch is being sponsored by Memorial Hospital. This will be a wonderful event and we invite both men and women. Please make reservations via the Health and Wellness Center at 828-4739.
