F.I.T.T. For Life
– a two-hour class that touches on exercise physiology, health benefits,
how to design your exercise program (Frequency, Intensity, Time/Duration),
and Type or Mode of exercise), exercise selection, order of exercise,
specificity of exercise, and a tour of the fitness center.
Microfit – A computerized
fitness assessment which includes resting heart rate, resting blood
pressure, body weight, body composition, flexibility, strength and aerobic
capacity. Each participant receives a computerized interpretation of his
or her fitness profile. PREREQUISITE:
Clients must attend F.I.T.T. For Life
class and then are referred by the instructor for a Microfit if deemed
necessary.
